Pours very light and pale golden color with almost no head.

Mild bitterness towards the end.

Caracole Ambrée 750ml, 7.5% - Belgium

Cloudy amber appearance topped with a dark white head.

Sour citrus, lemony aroma together with yeast in the background.

Fizzy carbonation hits the tongue with citrus, licorice and little hoppy bitterness. Slightly alco aftertaste.

Saxo 750ml, 7.5% - Belgium

Pours cloudy orange with a two finger fluffy white head.

Fresh citrus aroma, yeasty hints.

Sweet fruity taste, followed by strong spices and some citrus. With a pleasant hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste.

This is an ecological beer, although that doesn't concern me at all..

Nostradamus 330ml, 9% - Belgium

Poured cherry red with a creamy head. I expected a lighter color from this, like all other Caracole products.

This actually smells like champagne. I smell fruits, yeast and alcohol.

Full fruity flavor, which tastes like a Gueuze. The first thing that comes to mind are cherries and a lot of them. The beer is sour and dry. There are even some spices and hints of apples.

Surprisingly good beer!
